My friend and I went for breakfast this morning, and it’s safe to say this is one of my new favourite restaurants. The atmosphere is so retro and pleasant, and the staff were warm and welcoming, it was like being treated like family. The food was absolutely delicious and the price was cheap. I only wish I didn’t live hours away because I’d go here all the time!

Wow. So good! What gr re at value for the price. Bacon perfect, potatoes crispy n hot. Eggs fabulous. Waitress friendly n accommodating, coffee just the way we like it. Glad we got there before the morning rush!

I can never say anything negative about Hills! The food is always good! Always hot! Always fast! The amount the potatoes they serve....you’ll never leave hungry! The way it should be! The service.... The most friendly ladies! Great service, personality and sense of humour!

This charming, unpretentious diner is what I love about small towns. It's not trying to be anything other than a place to eat delicious, homemade comfort food. It's unpretentious. Diner standards are found here all day. They have all day breakfast,lunch & dinner so that you can order what you want any time of day. My companion & I came for an early dinner. We ordered soups of the day: tomato macaroni & beef barley. Then I ordered Salisbury steak, she the broasted chicken platter off the dinner menu. We shared onion rings. The portions were so generous we had to get a "doggy" bag. The food was delicious. A shoutout to our server Clara. She was friendly, attentive & dedicated to providing great customer service. She kept checking on us, accommodating all our requests. Accessibility: 4 Although it's all one level, the washrooms & aisles are tight if you use a mobility device. Nonetheless, the food is worth it. Definitely will return.

It's been years since I was last here. One sub par visit over 15 years ago but thought I'd give them a chance. Did takeout. Was impressed with the friendly efficient service. Was delighted that the breakfast special was still available on weekends. The bacon and overeasy eggs were cooked to perfection. Very generous serving of home fries. I'll definitely be back, soon. Next time it will be dine in. Thank-you Hills.

Great place for a complete meal! They have all day lunch deal for 18 and dinner deal for 22. It includes soup, meal and dessert. The cream of broccoli was so delicious, so was the chicken with fries and veggies. Huge portions! My dessert was rice pudding and was yummy. Service was very attentive and polite. I will definitely stop at this place again if i visit Orillia in the future.

I wish I could give this place a 10-star rating. Every restaurant in Canada should send their staff here for a training session..this is the gold standard. From the moment we walked in until the second we left, we genuinely felt welcomed and appreciated as customers. The service was flawless (did I mention that already?). We were seated and immediately offered coffee and water while we decided on our order. Within seconds, our drinks arrived. These ladies are seriously on top of their game! And somehow, amidst all the hustle, they still had time to joke around and have fun with each other. It was a refreshing change from the usual stiff, impersonal service. No eye rolling here if you ask for anything else.. or a coffee top up. We ordered the 2 eggs and hash browns, and let me tell you.. each plate was *loaded* with hash browns. There was no way we could finish it all. When one of our orders wasn’t quite right, our server immediately shouted to the back to get it fixed. The issue was resolved in just three minutes. Did I mention how amazing the service was? When the bill came, we thought there had been a mistake. Under 20 for two breakfasts? No way. We were more than happy to leave a generous tip for both the great service and the entertainment. Honestly, if you own a business, take notes—providing great service makes all the difference. People will tip more, and you'll sell more. I can’t wait to come back. This was a straight-up 20/10 experience—a once-in-a-lifetime level of service. Just... wow.
